Cotuit Library Book Club

The Book Club meets every fourth Wednesday of the month at 7:00 pm at the Library. Expect a lively discussion with an interesting group of people.

You may pick up your copy of each month's book at the Circulation Desk. Return it when on Book Club meeting night, and pick up the next month's book at the same time.

All are welcome. No preregistration is necessary (but please do read the book).

The selection for February is Old Filth by Jane Gardam.

Vintage Mystery Book Club

The Vintage Mystery Book Club is a limited edition book club meeting Sundays at 1:00 pm for six months only. We will enjoy some titles considered to be the best classic mysteries of all time.

The library is closed Sunday, so only Vintage Mystery Book Club members may enter during the meeting time.

You may pick up your copy of each month's book at the Circulation Desk. Return it when on Book Club meeting day, and pick up the next month's book at the same time.

All may attend. No preregistration is required.

November 20: The Murder of Roger Ackroyd by Agatha Christie

December 18: The Daughter of Time by Josephine Tey

January 15: The Nine Tailors by Dorothy Sayers

February 19: Clutch of Constables by Ngaio Marsh

March 18: The Maltese Falcon by Dashiell Hammett

April 15: Choose your poison: bring your own favorite vintage mystery to share. You might consider another work by an author we've already read, or something by a different author such as Margery Allingham or John Dickson Carr. There are lots of great choices.
