Mission
The general purpose of the Cotuit Library Association is to make available to all members of the community any books, materials and information which will help them to become well informed, to decide important questions, to educate and to enjoy leisure.

Service Response: Commons: Our Library is a meeting place
for the community and functions as a collaborative partner with other local organizations.
Goal #1:The community will have a variety of library sponsored programs and events.
Goal #2:The Library will provide the community with a comfortable and safe space that is amenable to group and individual pursuits.
Goal #3:The community will have access to programs and spaces provided by the library in collaboration with other village entities.
Service Response: Current Topics and Titles: The Library provides information on current topics and titles in various media formats for patrons’ information and
enjoyment.
Goal #1:Library users will have access to information resources and reading materials of current interest in the library.
Goal #2:Potential and current library users will have information in multiple formats about programs, events and reading materials available via the library.
Service Response: Basic Literacy: The Library provides reading programs for children that enable them to learn and love to read.
Goal #1:The library will provide materials and programs for children to encourage and build reading skills.
Service Response: Information Literacy: The Library provides opportunity to learn new technologies and how they enable information dissemination.
Goal #1:Library users will have the skills they need to find, evaluate and apply information through current and emerging technology.
