How to Participate:
- Fill out the online registration and payment form at the bottom of the page.
- Download the log and any other pages you wish to have.
- You report your progress to the library in person or via the "Map Your Progress" form.
- Attend or watch events online to earn raffle tickets.
- You can also pick up a registration packet at the Library and pay by cash or check if you prefer.

Cotuit Crest Trail 2020 Press Release
For this year's Wintertide Read and Ramble, Cotuit Library is heading west with a vicarious trek along the Pacific Crest Trail: the Cotuit Crest Trail. Register to walk a set number of miles, read a set number of books, or both between January 8 and March 6. Along the way we'll have programming revolving around California, hiking the trail, Yosemite National Park and more, all capped off with a banquet on the final day! In addition, each program a registered participant attends earns a raffle ticket for a prize to be drawn at the banquet. Mark your progress on our route map, and encourage your friends and family to participate from a distance with you through our website and online activities!

The following programs have yet to be scheduled:
Registration is $20 for adults (18+) and $10 for children (each additional child in a family is only $5). Registration packets with logs, maps, thematic reading suggestions and more are available at the Library. Patrons who do not wish to participate themselves are invited to donate funds to sponsor another walker/reader. - January 13 @6:00 p.m. – National Geographic’s Pacific Crest Trail January 22 @4:00 p.m. – Ansel Adams (PBS American Experience documentary)
- January 29 @4:00 p.m. – Movie showing: Wild
- February 19 @3:00 p.m. – All-ages Basket Weaving Craft
- February 24 @6:00 p.m. – Book Discussion: Wild, by Cheryl Strayed
- March 6 @4:00 p.m. – Cotuit Crest Trekkers’ Banquet
